Grass Seed Mixture

Call for your free copy of our grass seed brochure

Our new grass seed and silage inoculant brochure is focused on what we consider to be the best options for quality and value. Over the years we have experienced what our farmers want in the field and have created our own Bright Maize mixes.

Our team of Advisors all around the country are ready to help you when you need it and our intention is to give you as much information as you require so you can make your own informed choice with confidence.

Good quality grazed grassland is the cheapest feed for ruminant livestock and is the base upon which profitable farming is built, it is one of our nation’s most important crops.

Grass seed research and development has come a long way in recent years and there are many new blends and mixtures available which are proven to improve performance and productivity of animals. Dry matter will always be a priority but consideration to palatability, persistency, nitrogen efficiency, drought and disease tolerance, rumen stimulation and protein production should also be given.

Always have soil samples taken in advance as soil analysis data from across the UK shows that two thirds of grassland are not at target values for P, K or PH levels and of course, all of these things are very influential to grass growth.

Bright Maize grass mixtures have been especially formulated with the latest NIAB listed grasses. They have been designed to cater for all agricultural requirements from multi-cutting to long term grazing and offer great value for our farmers.
