AberSheep Clover Blend is a four-variety small white clover mixture designed to be sown into existing grass swards or used as part of a grass seed mixture. It contains 50% AberLasting, 20% AberAce, 15% AberPearl and 15% Rivendel small white clovers.

The blend can help rejuvenate older leys, provide a source of home-grown protein and reduce reliance on nitrogen fertiliser. A sward containing around 30% clover can supply an estimated 150-250kg of nitrogen per hectare per year. Clover-rich forage can also support increased forage intake and animal performance.

The suggested sowing rate is 1-3kg per acre. AberSheep Clover Blend is supplied in 25kg bags, with a 5kg option also available.

Important: Animals being introduced to forage containing clover should be transitioned gradually, particularly if they have been on a low-clover diet, as clover can increase the risk of bloat.
