Benchmark

Benchmark Silage Inoculant is a premium inoculant designed specifically for low dry matter grass silage between 18-35% dry matter. Containing homofermentative bacterial strains, Benchmark promotes a rapid drop in pH to help control fermentation, reduce nutrient losses and limit the growth of undesirable organisms.

By supporting a controlled fermentation, Benchmark helps reduce protein breakdown and secondary fermentation, helping farmers preserve the quality and nutritional value of their grass silage.

The standard application rate is 2 litres per tonne of fresh weight, with low-dose application available down to 40ml per tonne. A 100-tonne sachet requires 200 litres of water at the standard application rate.
